Located in Boca Raton, FL, the Boca Raton Beach Club & Resort – now a Waldorf Astoria Resort – is gearing up for the holiday season. Designed by Addison Mizner and built in 1926 as the Ritz-Carlton Cloister Inn, this gorgeous property has maintained it’s Mediterranean-Moorish charm and style throughout it’s 88 years of existence.
The reason there are two addresses on the entrance marquee? The property is actually comprised of two hotels – the ‘Resort’ (the pink, Mediterranean style buildings at 800 Presidential Place) – and the ‘Beach Club’ (located beach front on the Atlantic, just across the bay from the Resort).
The Beach Club property, built in the 1980s, is very contemporary in style. Images of the Beach Club appear at bottom.
